I visited the place a few times a couple of years ago.
I liked the food and the service at the time.
Has it really changed that much since the last time I went?
Before you blame the owner,
maybe you can put yourself in the owner's shoes and think what you would do.
If you let the kids run wild and continue to make a lot of noises,
then you are treating the other customers unfairly because they are being deprived of a serene and pleasant surrounding to enjoy thier meals.
Do you think the other customers would return after that?
For the owner, it is a choice of losing the noisey customers or the other customers.
What would you choose?
I have been to restaurants where some customers are talking at the top of the lungs, making all sort of horrendous noises. Sitting at the next table or even a few tables away is like sitting in a war zone. You can't even hear yourself think.
Would you REALLY enjoy your meal in such surrounding?
As for the parents or the adults bringing children to restaurants, or other public places like cinemas,
they have the responsibility to teach the kids proper manner at home first,
then make sure that the kids behave well in the restaurants.
If they think that the kids are too young to behave properly,
then order the food in and enjoy it at home. |
