Folks,

I want to change all four wheels (including tires and rims) of my car. Could you give me some suggestion about where I should go to buy and/or change them.

I checked online about the rim. The price has huge range. Some rims cost several hundreds. Is it reasonable? Or something wrong with my knowledge. The wheel includes tire and rim, doesn't it?

My old rims are rust. Can I keep them until they must be changed?

1) Rims - unless the rust is causing air leakage, you may want to save your money for now. In general, rusty rims do no harm to your tires. If you absolutely have to change the rims (and if your car is old), then call up scrap yards for your rims. The price is about 1/2 of your new rims. Some rims are very expensive because of different materials and construction. Once again, if your car is old, save the money.Only change them when you absolutely have to.

2) Canadian tire often has tire sales. Check its weekly flyer every week (on the back) - and most importantly SAVE these ads so that you can compare the prices later on. The cost of tire is affected by the type of tires and performance rating. E.g. two weeks ago, Canada Tire advertised:
13" tires type SE rating 115,000km at $55 each, 13" Touring LXR rating 130,000km at $60 each. 14" SE $65, LXR $70
These are good prices for these performance ratings.

These are 4 season tires, by the way.
