Hi, lemonaid_168,
doesn't matter whatever the dealer said, it's you pay the thousands of dollars. A responsible person can not buy a car even he didn't see it himself.
In fact, I bought a car after checking its insurance records in SAAQ and doing the whole inspection in a CAA garage. Although it costs me about 200$( $167+ tax ), but I know in detail how good or how bad is this car.
In my opinion, I prefer to buy a car from the owner, specially from westisland or southshore. Most of the residents there are the middle class of Canada and they dont' care about the price too much sometimes. Also their cars are almost always in very good condition.
by the way, talking about the Koren car, I think most of us don't have too much money to do some trials on that. We just want to buy a stable and economic car. However, it will be a different thing if you buy a new Koren car.
private opinion only for your reference
