I am wondering if any of you folks know Mazda MX3 or Precidia or called MX3 Precidia, whatever. I kinda like the shape of this car especially those 94 and 95 made. But I am not sure if this is a good car. Heard that Mazda is expensive on repair, guess sport costs even more.

Anyway, give some suggestions before I make a mistake.

I found a lot of sport cars are not very expensive, must due to the fact that the insurance cut you more, but how much more? Got any idea?

parts are a bit more expensive than most other cars in this class,easily found.
paint: bad

Thank you very much Lemonaid_168 for your info, but actually I am looking for a MX3, which is probably a little different from MX6 I think. It is also called Precidia. A made before 1993 looks not that cool comparing to a 1994 or 1995, a 1996 may be costly and I am not sure if there are after 1997.

I would appreciate if you can post some info about that.

Some other cars I would consider to buy are:

Nissan Altima or Maxima,
Toyota Camry
Mazda 626
Volks Passat
Or Chevrolet Cavalier,

of course you need to go to SAAQ and go to a garage to inspect your wanted car.

Hi, lemonaid_168;
the SAAQ can help you to know if this car had an accident before, but the garage can tell you if this car is in a good condition and what spares you are going to replace soon. It is very worthful to do both.
Finally, it is best if the garage can provide a full technical report on the inspection of that car. You can use it to negotiate with the previous owner or the dealer about the price.

actually, i called phil bailey, and they said it's not necessary to check it again, they said saaq will do a good job, besides, they are not available until next week, i think if i insist to check, the broker will be very mad, he even didn't allow us to see the car checked in saaq, just show us the report. he said it's brokers' or dealers' thing, not client's. if i pay for the check, i can go. everything he said just reminds me the word "trap". but, is it a trap? or it's just the thing works?

maybe we chinese are too careful when buying a car, the broker told us he never met a client like us who saw the car twice and have so many questions. qubecer even pay for a car before he try it.   eek!  it's unbelievable, we are talking about a car, not a bike, who knows!  :confused:
