application received: 21 apr 2007
application sent to montreal office: 22 jun 2007

After 15 months waiting, called CIC and got the following reply.
Montreal office cant make it in the 1 year time frame after my background check.
Redid background check: july 2008
Doc will send to montreal office again.
Expected citizenship test in Dec 2008

but i think this still depends on the speed of montreal office)

still a few months to wait.

Anyone else has the same scenario?

My case is earlier about 2 weeks than your case, but I have received the letter for testing. It took me about 16 months from applying date to testing date. I think you won't be long. Maybe you will have the result in 1 month. Good luck!

TO anjella: 不知道你是不是15号9点半考试的?我是7.15号9点半考的,我还没有收到宣誓的信.你在cic网上可以查到吗?有谁和我同一个时期的人要是先收到信的话就在这里通知一下啊.^_^

魁省人本来就慢，再加上省庆，我真是失算啊。。。早想到就应该好好等，什么都不做的。
好像6月20号左右转到Montreal的最惨。

你好，收到回信了吗？现在需要等那么久才能收到回信呀，我5月28日递交的，通过postcanada查看他们早就收到了，现在两个月了也是没有什么消息。

没有收到回信的朋友不要急,我们是4月21号寄的申请,现在还未收到任何回信.前两天打电话问,说已收到申请,不久将寄信给我们.

我4月底寄出的申请，上周收到了第一封信，随信还有一本准备入籍考试的书，信上的日期是6月23好，也就是说正好比我实际收到的日子早一个月。而且说：从信上署的日期起，需要12-15个月能完成。但我的一个朋友，她2007年12月9日寄出申请，今天考试，但要等通知才能宣誓。
