i think it is!!!and my friend's case also same as you,he don't know chinese, and they didn't use email, and didn't keep that通话帐单before, but after they hear a lot ppl said have to show it, so now they keeping calling card after finish use.but problem is that if calling card company don't have that通话帐单service, so what can we do??????????????and to samsonmq:if your wife is live in guang dong,so i think she have to go to hong kong interview, it is normal, don't worry!! good luck!!;)

Is 通话帐单very important? I don't have it too. I don't have email because I don't know how to type Chinese to my wife in China. And do we write letter anymore these days ?

The calling card are not enough? And my wife has to going for an interview on March 23. Help!!!!

I have the same problem with calling card.Because I've been using it all the time. We need the list to tell immigration office when and whom We had called for.

who can help us?

They will send you the first letter in about one month.  If you filled out the application correctly and all the documents are attached, they will send your application to the Canadian embassy nearest to where your spouse lives.

If they don't need an interview, they can approve your application in less than five months (I guess).

I filed my application on October 12.  They asked for an interview and my wife passed the interview in March  and we are still waiting for the final approval.  I guess it will take us another two months.

So I think it will take us about 8 months with an interview.

When I was sponsoring my wife, everyweek I made a long distance phone call. For first five minutes, I used long distance call for recording.

But for the other time, you can use the calling card. I don't think that any calling card company will give you bill statement(phone call list).
