In general, you and everyone in your family who is 18 years of age or over (16 years of age in certain jurisdictions) need to obtain a police certificate. You must obtain a police certificate from each country or territory where you have lived for six consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18.

The certificate must have been issued no more than three months before you submit your application.

似乎不必办理police certificate. 你也可以向RCMP询问。或者向北京或香港的大使馆询问。以下是他们的email

我的经验是大使馆一般会在一个星期内回复，不过有时候的回答比较含糊，因此问题要写清楚。

我必须得说我对这新的申请程序不是很熟悉。申请清单里似乎是不用这无犯罪公证材料的。我记得我申请的时候是要等来信后才按手印的。而且以下的网页也确认如此。我的经验是根据材料或网页所列清单提供材料，就不会有问题。

父母5月初体检，北京大使馆也确认收到体检结果，到现在北京大使馆网站上还显示申请材料审阅中。都4个月了。这正常吗？我公婆是同时申请，同时体检，7月就收到签证了。有过来人知道可能会是什么原因呢？

我也对这一新要求闻所未闻. 但是最近听一个办了移民的父母讲, 当初在国内因为要办指纹证明, 费了很多周折. 因为国内的这方面证明不符合加方的要求.

在魁北克的话，先要提送表格给联邦政府通过担保人资格（sponsor)然后联邦会把你的申请转给魁北克政府，然后魁北克政府会邮寄你详细的经济担保等文件提交。

两个表格要仔细看，金额是累加的。就是说收入要足够支持你自己及你所担保的人的支出要求。

1，先办父母探亲，过来以后再办移民是否可行，成功率高吗？
因为父母已年届70，经不起折腾和漫长的等待。

2，在为父母办团聚移民期间，是不是不能办他们过来探亲？
